Key Responsibilities
- IT-Security Inventory & CMDB Maintenance: Assisted in the maintenance of the IT-Security Inventory and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring the accuracy and up-to-date status of IT assets and configurations.
- New Asset Planning and Conception: Contributed to the planning and conceptualization of new IT assets, including assisting with documentation and system design for future integration into the CMDB.
- Support in IT Processes: Collaborated with senior IT staff to support ongoing IT infrastructure processes and gained insights into how large-scale IT operations are managed in a leading telecommunications company.
Skills & Knowledge Acquired
- IT Asset Management: Developed a deep understanding of managing and maintaining an organization’s IT assets through CMDB systems, ensuring they align with security protocols.
- Telecommunications Infrastructure: Gained insights into the infrastructure behind large-scale telecommunications services and how to manage IT assets efficiently.
- Collaboration & Communication: Worked alongside experienced IT professionals, enhancing communication and teamwork skills within a technical environment.
